Stripper stories drew the crowds 💥

I will never forget my Sociology 101 course in University. There was a choice:

1️⃣ The monotone professor that stuck to the textbook like glue. Everyone avoided this class.

2️⃣ The magnetic professor who, every Monday morning, would throw open the classroom door (a couple minutes late) with big black sunglasses, a long black flowing mane of hair, & a black long coat declaring “at the strip clubs this weekend….” as she dramatically pulled off her coat & tossed it on the podium. 

She was a storyteller that not only got you thinking in new ways, but IMMEDIATELY captivated your attention, AND had people clamouring to be in her classes.

Shit, it is 18 years later & I still remember her as if it was yesterday (And I continue to talk about her!).

The point is, your vanilla cookie cutter, hide behind systems or information only posts approach just won’t cut it. 

YOU are the brand.

When you realize that people are buying you it becomes your RESPONSIBILITY to allow your freak flag to fly. Not because you have to but how could you do life any other way than FULLY unleashed, unfiltered, & unapologetic.

The problem so many people have, other than content that blends into the crowd, is trying to fix the problem with more strategy, trying to leverage the algorithm with reels, or whatever else external fix to avoid the real thing that needs fixing…

The fact that you are NOT waving your freak flag. 

In an attempt to speak to everyone you speak to no one. 

And in an attempt to provide value in the form of educational only posts you become scroll-past-able.

They raise people’s awareness & give them ah ha moments. They masterfully see where people are & help people shift their perspective.
