Building a Business by Human Design

YOUR BUSINESS IS NOT YOUR BABY.

Your worth is not determined by how much you make monthly.

Your business is not an extension of you.

Your business is not meant to entertain you (although it will have to when you are always IN it & don’t have time for hobbies).

In 2020 I lost sight of that & my business became my baby,

And quite frankly my life.

I was addicted to the adrenaline highs, chasing impact & income that others around me were making.

And the loop became: Because of this my business had to be my entertainment, which caused me to focus on it more.  It was a feedback loop that I didn’t even realize I was trapped in.

I could NOT slow down to speed up because I always had new benchmarks to make to be relevant in the circles I was in.

In November 2021 Kira, my adopted girl of 13 years passed away very suddenly.  I realized I had completely lost sight of not only my WHY but also most importantly, as soon as I slowed down to grieve the loss I realized that I was burned out AF.

I had created a massive distortion that because I responded moment to moment I couldn’t possibly have long term strategy, and yet, because I didn’t have long term strategy I had a hamster wheel running month to month with launches & income.

Ra Uru Hu says: The material plane is about adaptation. If you don’t adapt, you die.

In that moment I had a choice.  To continue doing things as I was or change.

I chose to be a stand for a different way.  This wasn’t easy.  I had been in almost primarily anti-strategy circles & the programming around this went deep.  I STILL meet new edges & beliefs as I go deeper into strategy.

Values are changing right now as everyone goes through a massive evolution.  Spiritual entrepreneurs are realizing you can be both AND… Spiritual & have funnels.  Feminine energy led & be supported by structure.  

And people are starting to get crystal clear on what FREEDOM & FULFILLMENT actually means to them.

My clients don’t come to me because I am constantly in my stories selling, in fact when I am MORE active my sales go DOWN.  They don’t come to me because I am constantly launching something or always have something new.  My clients know what they want, and they aren’t looking to be entertained by an endless list of courses.

My clients come to learn how to implement Human Design into their business in a sustainable & impactful way.  A way that allows for recurring income & actual FREEDOM.  They have reached the social media level of success & yet they are burned out going month to month.

They come to me to learn how to grow a business that has seasons, light structure to support their flow & income that flows when they sleep from a place of embodiment & a regulated nervous system.  This CAN be done by design.  NO design is meant to go go go.  NO design is meant to gain a hamster wheel instead of freedom.

Let me tell you something that I had to learn the hard way: Burnout doesn’t feel like burnout until you stop.  Burnout actually felt AMAZING while I was in it!  And this is what I hear from my clients: “I didn’t realize until I got sick & needed to take time off”, “I didn’t realize until I slowed down & couldn’t force myself to get started again”.  

My business is going through yet another transition as I automate it more.  Being spiritual is more than bubble baths, meditations, & crystals.  Being spiritual is also about taking care of yourself, having boundaries, and treating your business like a damn business.

How do you shift away from the hamster wheel?

1. Truly embody your Human Design & Gene Keys.  This isn’t a fast fix.  YES, we can make quick adjustments based on design immediately AND you must be devoted to the long term embodiment, which doesn’t happen overnight.  
2. HEAL, for real.  Take the time to release self sabotage patterns & heal the patterns that are keeping you running back to the adrenaline hits of PayPal pings & new monthly highs.
3. Begin to align short term decisions with your long term vision.  It is easy to make short term decisions from a place of fight/ flight sacrificing our values, nervous system, or mental health, to make quick cash or hit a new milestone to be seen as worthy or successful.
4. Focus on scaling a signature offer & LEARNING from each launch.  A million dollar launch won’t come from the first launch but learn from it, adjust course, and do it again!  Stay the course!
