I would rather people hate me for who I am, rather than contort, force, & try to fit into someone else's ideal then STILL be hated…

Because, either way you won’t be everyones cup of tea.  And, it’s ok to admit it…. Everyone isn’t your cup of tea either 😜

So how do you handle people coming for you in the online space?

  1. It is inevitable.  If you are having the courage to CREATE & speak your mind, people will have something to say about it.  Build the resiliency in your nervous system to stay grounded in the face of this.
  2. Don’t respond to those intentionally trying to misrepresent you AND, if someone is combative, toxic, or just plain not someone you would invite to your house… Block. It isn’t unspiritual to block.  You don’t have to just take it.  Create boundaries.
  3. Go deeper into who you are!  I used to hide & go back if I was meeting people that didn’t agree…. And all it did was stifle my creativity, my brand, & my voice.  Now, I know I am on the right track & I keep going.  

Courage to be yourself is not the absence of fear, it is rather the capacity to move ahead in spite of fear.  You not only fail yourself, but your mission, & community by allowing people that are set on misrepresenting you control your voice & brand.

Keep doing what you are doing & then go 10X deeper into it.
