The 13th constellation…
The interwebs would like you to believe that Ophiuchus is a “new discovery”…
In fact, this is the spiritual version of the 52 Thoroughbreds. Every year it is released as being “new”, yet it was discovered, well at least Ophiuchus, in ancient Babylon more than 3000 years ago.
The “Serpent Bearer” was acknowledged by ancient Babyloanians & ancient Greek cultures YET no one included it in the 12 sign zodiac system….
Purposefully hidden the sun DOES in fact pass through the “foot” of this constellation every year from November 26th- December 18th.
This isn’t something to believe or not…. It happens.
And there are a lot of astrologers, myself included, that believe this should be recognized as the 13th sign within our current zodiac.
Yes, I am a Western astrologer…. Yet, I have a progressive approach & through my own channelings & working with mentors I firmly believe Ophiuchus is a significant & relevant inclusion to astrology.
Why was Ophiuchus left out? I have my own theories & channelings but I feel it is also why the 13th month was removed & why many of the Goddess libraries & histories have been burned & rewritten.
13this the Goddess number.
Don’t believe me? Look into the TRUE history of Lilith & Mary Magdalene, just as two examples.
If you were born between November 26th- December 18th you have a connection to Ophiuchus OR if you have any planets between 8-26 degrees of Sagittarius.
I do see this as a shared expression. I allow western astrology & the 13th sign to dance together.
