The Generator Plateau

When I'm in my BUILDING Generator phase, all I want to do is work. ⁣

I truly have non stop energy, ideas, flow, & creativity to build & work. My husband will bring me food to my office. I could happily forgo food & water in the name of fitting more work in. ⁣⁣

In this phase when I am not working I fill the rest of my time absorbing as much knowledge I can. Right now I have 3 certifications on the go & I am also furthering my knowledge in Human Design/ BG5. ⁣

In this phase I need very little sleep, as Ra said is the case with aligned Generators. ⁣

And the truth is that EVERY Generator (builder) & MG ( Express builder) will hit a plateau inevitably. If you have a lot of individual circuitry it may feel like melancholy. Of course, your not-self is going to turn it into all kinds of deep problems and terrible decisions. That's what it does. Even the most embodied Generators can feel like they got hit with a tanker truck when a plateau hits. ⁣⁣

In this phase I just want to binge Netflix. Potentially burn my business down. I have absolutely ZERO creative energy or desire to build. I would rather do anything other than launch. And I need A LOT of sleep. I nap like it’s my job during this phase & adjust my schedule to allow myself to sleep in later. ⁣⁣

Also, being a highly individual chart when I hit the plateau I hit melancholy. Deep melancholy. We tend to label this energy as being depressed, and yet, when honoured melancholy is a highly mutative energy. ⁣⁣

I used to to think this meant something was wrong with my motivation, or even the direction of my business/ life, and I would FORCE my way through it. Now, as is the power of Human Design, I understand this is literally the way I am designed to do life & business.⁣⁣

As the years pass & I go deeper into my experiment I honour the plateau & have learned to enjoy them without the pressure or force. They have their place in the ebbs & flows of our HIGHLY receptive design. If we try & work through it we aren’t able to recharge so that we can have a new surge of energy to build in our full power.⁣

It feels so good to not fight my truest nature anymore. ⁣

It feels good to honour my strengths & to stop seeking through my openness. ⁣

And I have built my business to have incredible recurring income so that I am supported in my plateaus & don’t feel pressure to build something for the sake of cash injections. ⁣⁣
