Gate 45 Human Design: The Natural Alpha

Have you ever noticed that every business/ team/ organization naturally has someone that steps up & takes charge or someone that others naturally look to for leadership?

 

Before I found Human Design I would always be that person, not because I wanted to but because I felt I HAD to.  I will never forget that in my Masters in ALL the group work I would feel obligated to step up & organize meetings, everyone's role in the project, etc.  This not only left me frustrated but it also drained my energy as it is not a strength or role I am meant to take on, however, as Ra Uru Hu says:

 

“No one is broken and yet we run around trying to fill up the open places and seek to be what we are not.”

 

I have 45-21 open & very obviously in a group was living through that openness, which also prevented me from living MY unique strengths & traits within groups.  This left me always wanting to quit, the trademark of an unsatisfied Generator, because it wasn’t correct use of my energy or a sacral YES for me.  It was a “Fine, if no one else is going to do it, I will”. 

 

Interestingly enough, when I was in corporate my ability to take charge was never recognized as a strength, it was other Penta skills that I hold that were naturally seen in others which allowed me to climb the corporate ladder so fast, and which gave me the natural strengths to build a powerhouse business so fast.

 

The power of Human Design/ BG5 is that

Human Design provides us this ability to understand ourselves, our unique success codes, AND the success codes of our business as we grow it & create Pentas, and WA’s.


Note:  Your business does NOT have a Human Design based on the day you started it.  This is NOT what I am saying here, and that misinformation can cause a lot of resistance & confusion for people in business.



When we have a WA grouping someone has to be in charge.  If everyone is living their design & grounded in the core essence of their strengths, it will naturally be the 45.  This does not mean the 45 is superior, and they are not seen as such by the organization or group.  It is critical that the person in the role of the 45 in a group or businesses is seeing & recognizing the others for their strengths & contributions to the whole.  This is authentic, collaborative, leadership.

 

The 45 will be looking for how to manage the pressure of the business or organization. This isn’t control through power over the business.  What the team, WA, is looking for is an authentic leader, the just & wise leader, not a dictator or someone who is trying to control the business through silencing others so that they are the one & only voice.  THIS type of 45 is where you will start to see higher turnover, team members unfilled with their role causing more resistance in the business, more sick days, etc.

 

The most powerful use of BG5 (Business side of Human Design) is helping clients build teams & grow businesses that honour each persons strengths & allow the gaps to be filled for a well oiled, energetically powerful, “machine”.
