An important mechanics piece to understand is that each year the sun moves counterclockwise around the gates of the mandala (like the sun moves through the astrological signs), spending approximately 6 days in each gate. For deeper understanding, know that the sun progresses through all 6 lines of a gate before moving into the next gate.

Yesterday, April 8th, we were in 51.4, today 51.5 which will shift to 51.6 around 1 pm eastern today.

Line 5: 

Line 5 - Symmetry

Exaltation: Perfected illumination that in grasping the nature of the shock, can transform its normal patterns into a symmetrical adaptation that rides the shock and avoids its devastation. The perfection of the warrior ego through instinctive adaptation.

Detriment: A tendency in seeking the core, to harmonize with one shock only to be overwhelmed by the next. The egoism to indulge in victory and lose vigilance.

We moved from the Genius to Freak paired with the Channel of Emoting to Genius to Freak paired with the Channel of Mutation. Mutation today resides in Mercury & Pluto, in detriment, meaning there is potential energy for reliance on intellect at the expense of intuition. The inability to know that order will emerge and therefore a drive to find this knowing elsewhere.  This weekend has the not self energy equivalent of not liking the tarot card you pulled so continually pulling new ones to try & find an answer your mind wants.

As well, the moon in cancer making a t-square to Mercury this weekend there may be a draw to try & figure out emotional energies.  With that undefined solar plexus with many hanging gates if yours remains open despite transits today just observe the energy, if yours is defined with the transits today you may feel a set emotional wave that moves through you. Either way, do not make emotional decisions- not even emotional authorities make emotional decisions.

Taking action advises people to adopt a cautious heart & a cautious mind in dealing with new situations before expecting success. Taking action brings success, and it is tempting to try & enhance success. But the wise keeps themselves calm & remains at ease.

The solid line at the bottom suggests positive energy is taking action & moving upward from below.

In Astrology (My first love before ever finding Human Design):

A lot of feminine energy & reflections today. North Node retrograde with sedna & the sun, chiron, & pallas athena in aries.

One thing I will say is that Athena cursed Medusa (A priestess of Athena) for breaking her vow of celibacy. Added with Venus in Pisces this is a highly emotional position for Venus, which supports the Human Design energy of emotions being high.

I feel this is a very strong energy to reflect on emotions towards sisters, women, & the rising feminine. What role do you play? allowing chiron to be the golden healer or further entrench us in the cursing of other women.

Tips for today:

💫 Get outside if possible.  Ground.  Spend time in nature.  Allow emotions to move THROUGH you.
